Placental elastography in the third trimester

Can elastrography evaluate placental changes throughout gestation and is this impacted by small of gestational age pregnancies?

This publication in the journal Placenta uses modelling to understand whether there is an impact of maternal and fetal parameters on placenta stiffness measured by shear wave elastography.
