Why is study important?

The Queensland Family Cohort (QFC) Study is aiming to understand parental and environmental factors that influence healthy child growth and well-being throughout life. We are looking at both physical and mental health of parents and
children — starting in pregnancy and continuing throughout early childhood across Queensland.

Who do I recruit?

Pregnant participants and their partners
are invited to join if they are between 12-24 weeks pregnant and living in Queensland.

What's involved for particpants?

Participation is entirely online, using a
secure automated survey platform. Surveys are completed from 24 weeks pregnant - 5 years. The surveys include validated questions selected by expert researchers.

Benefits for participants

As a thank you for participation, we are offering a $200 grocery voucher quarterly prize draw for every completed survey.

Why should you help?

We plan to recruit 10,000 families, and we need your help to promote the study to a diverse range of families across our beautiful state!

“It was a good check in doing the survey's throughout my pregnancy because it forced me to think, hmmm, maybe I haven't been as active or eating as well as I could have been and actually make changes. "
